MESSAGE HIGHLIGHTS

Opening with a vision of multitudes emerging along the latitude lines of a globe, the message returned to the badger-skin covering as the guarantee of resilience, then traced Amalek from Esau's line through Saul and Haman to the structures opposing God's people today. It closed on the fourfold nature of the believer — Lamb, Lion, Ox and Eagle — and the refining fire of the golden sanctuary.

“The harvest belongs to both the morning and the evening.”

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  1. 1

The badger neutralises venom and rises to hunt the serpent down — the outer covering declares that Christ does not back down, and neither do those who are bone of His bone.

  2. 2

Amalek descends from Esau's forfeited line; the same spirit reappears in Agag, in Haman, and today in affluent global structures working against God's people.

  3. 3

Moses standing between Aaron of Levi and Hur of Judah shows the Levitical order yielding to the eternal royal priesthood of Melchizedek through Christ.

  4. 4

Believers partake of the fourfold cherubic nature — Lamb for humility, Lion for dominion, Ox for strength, Eagle for elevated vision.

  5. 5

Entering God's presence is entering a consuming, refining fire; the veil was Christ's flesh, torn open to give direct access to the most holy place.

The tabernacle mysteries, the nature of Christ, and generational warfare against Amalek

8 PARTS · 5 STUDY QUESTIONS · 4 TERMS

Opening vision: the global multitudes

  • Prophet John Taylor recounted a vision given earlier that morning: an enormous globe marked by prominent latitude lines in bold grey and black, with multitudes emerging along those lines from across the earth.

  • When he thought to shift them to the evening gathering, the Spirit instructed him that the harvest belonged to both the morning and the evening sessions — a double release of divine purpose and grace.

  • This conference season marks a deliberate alignment in which believers are elevated beyond ignorance into divine knowledge.

The badger skin and guaranteed resilience

  • The nature of the badger. Badgers are relentless and refuse to back down when attacked by cobras and pythons. Even when struck and momentarily stunned by venom, receptors in the body neutralise and deactivate the poison, allowing the badger to rise, hunt the serpent down, and devour it. From youth they build immunity by feeding on scorpions and enduring stings.

  • The typology. The outer covering of badger skin reveals that Christ does not back down. It is the physical typology of Genesis 3:15 — the serpent bruises the heel of the woman's seed, but the seed crushes the serpent's head. At the crucifixion the demonic realm thought Him defeated; after three days He rose, stripped the enemy, and openly triumphed.

  • The application. Because believers are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, the tabernacle is a preview of eternal victory. The enemy may strike or afflict the righteous, but they do not remain down — they carry the resilient nature of Christ to rise and conquer.

  • Genesis 3:15

Amalek, Mount Seir, and the antichrist spirit

Israel's first battle after leaving Egypt was Amalek's attack at Rephidim.

  • Origins. Amalek was the grandson of Esau, born through Eliphaz and his concubine Timna, connected to the Horites and the lineage of giants inhabiting Mount Seir. Esau deliberately violated his father's counsel by marrying Canaanites, forfeiting his spiritual inheritance and establishing a line hostile to the covenant.

  • Zion versus Seir. Scripture establishes a perpetual tension between Mount Zion (God's kingdom) and Mount Seir (the lineage of Esau and worldly hostility). Prophetic texts declare that in the last days God will execute judgment on Mount Seir.

  • Moses, Aaron and Hur. Moses stood on the hill with the rod of God. When his hands grew heavy, Aaron and Hur placed a stone beneath him and held up his hands until sunset, securing Joshua's victory. Moses then built an altar named Yahweh Nissi — “The Lord is My Banner” — declaring that the Lord would war with Amalek from generation to generation.

  • The thread through Scripture. Balaam prophesied a Star out of Jacob and a Scepter out of Israel; Amalek was first among the nations, but his end would be destruction. Saul lost his throne for sparing King Agag. Centuries later Haman the Agagite sought the extermination of the Jews.

  • Today. The Amalekite spirit operates now through influential, affluent global structures and authorities working behind the scenes against the people of God. In the end, Christ the Scepter of Judah will crush it.

  • Exodus 17:8-16
  • Numbers 24:17-20
  • 1 Samuel 15
  • Esther
  • Isaiah 63

The shift in priesthood

  • Aaron, of Levi, represented the Levitical priesthood under the Old Covenant. Hur hailed from the royal tribe of Judah.

  • Moses stood between them to demonstrate that the Levitical order was ordained to function for an appointed time before yielding to the eternal royal priesthood arising out of Judah — the order of Melchizedek through Christ Jesus.

  • Moses was permitted to see only God's back in the dispensation of the shadow; New Covenant believers behold His face and walk in the reality of His glory.

The sanctuary, Bezalel, and living stones

  • God instructed Moses to collect gold, silver, bronze, dyed skins, fine linen and precious stones from the people's willing toil to build the sanctuary.

  • The living temple. In the New Covenant believers themselves are the living stones being assembled into a spiritual temple. Because the Chief Cornerstone is living, every stone fitted into Him must be spiritually alive, joined like a magnet without human mortar.

  • The names of the artisans. Bezalel means “in the shadow of Elohim” — from Judah, endowed with wisdom and understanding, he built the shadow of the sanctuary. Aholiab means “the tent of my father.” Together they constructed the earthly shadow pointing to Jesus Christ, who came from Judah as the wisdom of God, greater than Solomon, to build the Father's eternal tabernacle.

  • Exodus 25:1-9
  • Exodus 31:1-6

The fourfold nature of the believer

Spiritual immaturity causes believers to see themselves only through the limits of human flesh rather than their true identity in Christ.

  • Christ came as the sacrificial Lamb to die, but was raised and is seated as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He returns as a Lion, not as a slain lamb.

  • The Lamb / Man. Humility, representation, and relationship.

  • The Lion. Boldness, royal authority, and dominion in warfare.

  • The Ox / Bull. Strength, diligent labour, and steadfast execution.

  • The Eagle. Elevated prophetic vision, ascending to heavenly heights.

  • Believers must recognise this complete spiritual makeup to dismantle demonic opposition and rule in their earthly assignments.

Gold, fire, and the opened veil

  • The temple interior was overlaid with pure gold and carved with cherubim. Because cherubim represent divine fire and gold withstands intense heat, entering God's presence brings a man into a consuming, refining fire that purges the flesh.

  • God explicitly promised to gather the nations and ordain Gentiles as priests and Levites, breaking the historic veil of exclusivity.

  • The veil was Christ's flesh. Just as cherubim were woven into it, the spiritual reality was torn open when Christ died, giving direct access into the most holy place.

  • The Ark and the Mercy Seat. The Ark contained the tablets of the Word; the Mercy Seat is the throne of grace. As long as divine longsuffering remains, mercy is extended — but when the season of forbearance ends, the throne functions in lion-like judgment.

  • The extended poles. The carrying poles of the Ark projected forward so their ends could be seen from the holy place, showing that divine dimensions and heavenly ranks display varying degrees of God's presence and glory.

  • 1 Kings 6
  • Malachi 3
  • Isaiah 66:19-21
  • Hebrews 10:20
  • 1 Kings 8:6-8

Encounters and the superiority of divine light

  • In prayer a regional principality appeared to seduce and cripple him. Realising his eyes carried spiritual power and fire, he looked on the entity with focused knowledge; magma-like fire proceeded from his eyes, dismantling the power and shifting his ministry into greater regional authority.

  • In a confrontation with a dragon-like entity spitting fire, the fire of the enemy was rendered harmless when Christ stood beside him.

  • While the wicked shoot secret arrows, God shoots His own arrow suddenly to strike them down, and the shield of faith extinguishes every fiery dart.

  • Psalm 64
