The Grand Opening
Minister to be confirmed
MESSAGE HIGHLIGHTS
The gathering opened with worship, prophetic declarations and a teaching on the prophetic ministry, followed by a public question-and-answer session. The arena was presented as a place where believers are gathered, prepared, refined and spiritually strengthened — and attendees were urged to approach it with expectation, reverence and willingness to participate rather than as spectators.
“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.”
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- 1
A prophet reveals God's purposes and carries divine messages; the prophetic word is not casual speech, but demands preparation, waiting on God, and courage to deliver.
- 2
Prophecy does not cancel free will — destiny-attached words are already settled in God's will, while conditional words depend on faith, prayer, knowledge and obedience.
- 3
Spiritual promises must be nurtured like a pregnancy or a seed; stopping prayer or changing direction delays or diverts the manifestation.
- 4
“Major” and “minor” prophet are scholarly labels about volume of writing, not divine rank — and a seer's gift is sight, while a prophet also interprets, proclaims, and knows what must not be disclosed.
- 5
“Thus says the Lord” is a solemn claim requiring real authorization, and intercession is not warfare — never engage powers beyond your authority.
REFLECTION
Which prophetic word in your life have you stopped nurturing — and what would it take to begin again?

3 PARTS · 5 STUDY QUESTIONS
What a prophet is, and what the prophetic word costs
The function. A prophet reveals God's purposes, communicates divine messages, helps deliver people from bondage, and aligns lives with God's will.
The cost. The prophetic word is not casual speech. It requires preparation, waiting on God, and the ability to deliver without fear.
Major and minor. These are scholarly labels based on the volume of writing left behind, not divine rankings. A prophet's assignment and revelation matter more than the title.
Seer and prophet. A seer's principal faculty is sight. A prophet's ministry is broader — revelation, interpretation, authority, proclamation, and the discretion to know what must not be disclosed. Not everything seen should be announced.
- Jeremiah 1:10
- Numbers 11:16-25
How prophecy actually works
Prophecy does not cancel free will. Destiny-attached prophecies are already settled in God's will and will come to pass. Conditional prophecies depend on faith, prayer, knowledge, obedience and continued participation.
Promises must be nurtured. A spiritual promise behaves like a pregnancy, a seed, a plant, or a growing business. Stopping prayer, abandoning the place where something began, or moving in an incompatible direction can delay or divert the manifestation.
Weigh what you are told. “Thus says the Lord” is a solemn claim and should only be used with genuine divine authorization. Believers must weigh prophetic statements rather than accept them because of their wording.
- 2 Kings 1:10
- James 1:22
Intercession, warfare, and the limits of your authority
Intercession and spiritual warfare are distinct. Intercession pleads with God on another's behalf; warfare directly confronts spiritual opposition and requires authority, training and maturity.
Engaging powers beyond one's authorization is unsafe.
The eagle's eye. The prophetic eye works like an eagle's — clearer from a higher position. Prayer, composure and closeness to God sharpen perception.
Gift and character are not the same. A gift can exist while character is still immature. Do not read the presence of a gift as proof of maturity.

Which prophetic word over your life have you stopped nurturing — and what practically would it take to begin again?
- 2

- 3
Where have you accepted a prophetic statement because of how it was phrased rather than because you weighed it?
- 4
Is there an area where you are engaging in warfare beyond your authorization — and what would submitting that back to God look like?
- 5
Name one place where your gift is further along than your character.
